FAQs
Common questions about Express Entry.
How long does Express Entry take?
Processing times are set by IRCC and can change. Please check the current published processing times on the official IRCC website before relying on any figure.
Which program should I apply under — FSW, CEC, or FST?
It depends on your education, language test results, and work experience. APIS reviews your profile against current criteria for all three and recommends the strongest option.
What is the CRS?
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is the points-based system IRCC uses to rank Express Entry candidates. The score is based on factors such as age, education, language, and work experience.
What if I am not invited?
You can remain in the Express Entry pool for up to 12 months. If your profile changes (for example, you improve your language score), update it and your new CRS score will be used in future draws.
