Canada is a great place to live that has a lower crime rate in most of it’s metropolitan areas and small towns compared to the US. Canada can be a very cold country in parts but you can enjoy the winter sports beyond hockey such as skiing, snowmobiling and tobogganing.
Amazing scenery, Canadians always say how beautiful Ireland must be. It is but come on Canada stop being so polite and modest. You guys have green fields and mountain ranges that are bigger than ireland. Not to mention the beautiful white north.
The people is what makes this place great. It’s an immigration nation and Canadians can make almost anyone feel welcome but also without making you feel like a complete outsider. No matter where your from you won’t be theirs or the last on here from there. Everyone seems to be very PC if even over the top most of the time
Law. Certain laws are laced and certain laws are in place to avoid discrimination and abuse. Also very progressive on equality laws, well apart from Harpers questionable laws he is and has passed. The one year common law rule can be both good and bad.
Wildlife. The diverse landscapes and climates offer host to many many different species. All animals are majestic.
High taxes, not just on wages but on everything you purchase and sometimes yearly on certain thing like the value assessed property tax, high commercial tax, hight living tax, just high tax on everything like GST and HST.
